The purpose of this amendment is to:

2. Update the Salient Characteristics to say: Dual Laser System: Must incorporate both CO2 and Fiber laser capabilities within a single, integrated unit. Separate systems will still be considered for award.

Submitting two alternate variations is encouraged.

The purpose of this amendment is to:

1. Update the solicitation document to include updating the header, editing to state that funds are now available for this requirement, and editing the way the ship to/acceptance inforrmation written for clarification.


2. Attach a Q&A document.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Reminder to all prospective offerors:

At least two items are required to be considered.

1. Complete the Solicitation (Fill in the blanks on the solicitation document and sign at the bottom.)

2. Provide photos and specifications IAW the solicitation.

Please note that the contactors who do not submit their quote as requested in Section L will not be evaluated.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial product prepared in accordance with RFO part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

The contractor shall provide all equipment, accessories, documentation, and any standard components necessary to deliver one (1) Laser Engraver to Misawa AB, Japan IAW the salient characteristics. The items must be fully functional and able to execute the tasks mentioned in the contract documents attached.

This is a Brand Name OR EQUAL requirement. Salient Characteristics of the offered item shall meet or exceed the salient characteristics of the Epilog Fusion Pro 36 Dual. See the attached Salient Characteristics for more information. Alternative products will be considered.

This solicitation is subject to RFO 52.232-18 Availability of Funds.

Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
