Description

The Contractor must test the Combination fire/smoke dampers with respect to the mechanical operation of those devices (if any). The Contractor must test the electrical components in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 105 standard and include that testing in the annual fire alarm testing. There is a separate company that does the fire alarm testing. They do not need to coordinate with the fire alarm testing company.

The Contractor must locate existing fire separations and determine whether the required fire and smoke dampers and combinations systems are in place. CSC will provide list of known existing fire dampers to the Contractor.
