Description

Through this RFQ series, NYCHA is administering a pilot procurement that introduces a streamlined bid submission and evaluation process, differing from NYCHA's conventional solicitation procedures. The pilot is intended to simplify the solicitation process for responding bidders while supporting NYCHA's ongoing efforts to strengthen competition, improve efficiency, and enhance transparency within the Authority's procurement process.

At the time of RFQ closing, responding bidders will only be required to submit the minimum documentation identified in the solicitation. Following bid opening, NYCHA will evaluate bid pricing and identify the apparent low bidder(s). During the evaluation process, NYCHA will request additional required documentation only from the apparent low bidder(s), or other bidder(s) as necessary, to complete the responsibility and responsiveness review. Bidders should not submit documents beyond the minimum required unless specifically requested by the Authority.

For a complete description of the pilot process, including bidder submission requirements and evaluation phases, please refer to the attachment titled "Pilot – Solicitation Bid Submission & Evaluation Process – Standpipe Sprinkler Inspections (RFQs 524258, 525258, 525259, and 525260)" available with this RFQ in iSupplier.
