NOTICE OF SINGLE SOURCE TO THE PUBLIC

Shelby County Government has identified a single source purchase for the goods/services as

listed below. This notice is not a request for bid, proposal, or qualifications.

Single Source – Public Official Bonds

The identified vendor will:

Public Official Bond.

1. The Vendor shall indemnify, defend, save and hold harmless the County, and its

elected officials, officers, employees, agents, assigns, and instrumentalities from and

against any and all claims, liability, losses or damages—including but not limited to

Title VII and 42 USC 1983 prohibited acts—arising out of or resulting from any

conduct; whether actions or omissions; whether intentional, unintentional, or

negligent; whether legal or illegal; or otherwise that occur in connection with or in

breach of this Contract or in the performance of the duties hereunder, whether

performed by the Vendor its sub-Vendors, agents, employees or assigns. This

indemnification shall survive the termination or conclusion of this Contract.

2. Coverage not to exceed $65 million in bonded amounts.

Procurement Timing/Deadlines:

1. Four-year term beginning September 1, 2026

2. Applications must be available by August 7, 2026

In accordance with Shelby County’s Purchasing policy, notice of single source will be posted on

the County’s website for seven (7) days prior to award.

Notice expires on June 24, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.
