A. This is a synopsis of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation for this notice will be published on https://sam.gov as a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about February 11, 2025.
B. The Virginia Army National Guard (VaARNG) is seeking the procurement and delivery of associated support items of equipment (ASOIE) for UTS CP tent models TXL80, TMT54, TM54, TM36, and TM 18. Required items will include light sets, Y-adapters, ducts, and connector boots. Delivery will take place at several locations throughout Virginia.
C. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract resulting from the RFQ. Multiple awards will not be made. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for these services is 335132 (Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Electric Lighting Fixture Manufacturing). The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6230 (Electric Portable Hand Lighting Equipment). This requirement will be a 100% Set aside for small businesses. Only qualified offerors may submit quotes.
D. Payment will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) application in accordance with DFARS clause 252.232-7006, Wide Area Workflow Payment Instructions.
E. To be considered for an award, vendors shall have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that the representations and certifications in their SAM registration are accurate and current.
F. On behalf of the Government, the Contracting Officer intends to evaluate each quote and make an award without discussions. The Contracting Officer unilaterally reserves the right to determine if it is necessary to conduct discussions.
