The Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD), in support of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), is seeking to establish comprehensive contract with a qualified vendor to enhance its Canine Unit capabilities. This procurement will involve a complete training program for police canines and handlers. The procurement will include all-inclusive training for canine tracking detection, explosives detection and hard surface tracking.
