Bids will be received by the Guilford County Purchasing Department, at 220 Seneca Road, Greensboro,
North Carolina 27406, until 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time, on Thursday, Augustn13, 2026 and immediately
thereafter publicly opened and read for Guilford County with Children Recovery Facility Renovation at
Gibson Park.
A non-mandatory Pre-Proposal ZoomGov Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.
You may join the ZoomGov Meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
A non-mandatory site walkthrough will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Gibson Park,
located at 5209 W. Wendover Avenue, High Point, NC 27265. The walkthrough will be conducted by CPL
Architecture, Engineering, Planning and the Guilford County Facilities Department.
Bidding documents, drawing, and specifications are available for viewing on Guilford County’s Vendor Self
Service automated bidding system at: https://guilfordcountync.munisselfservice.com
Any and all DOCUMENT CLARIFICATION REQUEST concerning the Bid Documents are to be emailed
to the office of CPL – Architecture, Engineering, Planning, 400 Bellemeade Street, Suite 401,
Greensboro, NC 27401, to the attention of Ellison Laughton, elaughton@cplteam.com with a copy to Tari
Maynor‑Brady, tmaynor@guilfordcountync.gov) and Guilford County Purchasing
DG_Purchasing@guilfordcountync.gov
Respondents or their sub-contractors must be licensed to perform all fields of required work in North
Carolina.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check, payable to Guilford County in
the amount of not less than 5% of the bid.
A performance and payment bond will be required from the awarded Contractor for one hundred percent
(100%) of the contract price.
Guilford County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
Per S.L. 2017-210 and Guilford County Ordinance Chapter 17: Electronic Notice section 17-1(a), Guilford County is permitted to publish its legal
