Group Life, Health, Dental & Retiree Benefit Plans

The purpose of this document is to solicit proposals to partner with a provider or providers for the supply of insurance services on behalf of the Employee Benefit Plan Trusts including the:

Group Life Insurance Plan
Core Dental Plan
In-Scope Extended Health Care and Enhanced Dental Plan
Out-of-Scope Extended Health Care and Enhanced Dental Plan
Out-of-Scope Flexible Spending Plan (HSA portion only)
Retiree Health and Dental Plan

We are marketing the Plans to fulfill our fiduciary responsibility to our strategic partners including the Employee Benefit Plans Board of Trustees and supporting Committees, participating employers, unions, and plan members. We want to ensure that the products and services provided by our current insurer are in keeping with the products and services that may be available through other providers, that we have access to industry-leading technology, and that our cost structure is competitive.

It is on our strategic road map to create a recognizable brand for the Employee Benefit Plan Trusts, to leverage our providers technology labelled with our new “house-brand”, to have full access to our data so we can understand and support our decision-makers, partners and plan members in a holistic way, and to build a long-term partnership to provide the health care workers of Saskatchewan with a world-class service experience.

Vendors are invited to respond to this RFP by clearly identifying which insured benefits and/or insurance services you are responding to.
