Synopsis:
|
|
Submissions marked "Water Street Bridge Replacement" will be received by the Town of Wolseley, via email, no later than 2:00 P.M. Central Standard Time, Tuesday December 23rd, 2025.
A video conference pre-submission meeting will be held via Zoom regarding this competition on December 10th, at 11:00:00 am, CST(SK) for any interested bidders. Please email the contact noted in the Instructions for Procurement Part 3, to request an invitation to the online meeting, by December 9th at 5:00:00 pm, CST.

The major items of work for this tender include:
Measures to prevent nesting on or under bridge;
Demolish and remove from site the existing 2 span timber bridge;
Temporary by-pass of existing sanitary line hung under the existing bridge;
Excavation and installation of Geosynthetic Reinforced System (GRS) foundation for abutments and wing walls including the precast lock block facing;
Supply and installation of precast concrete girders;
Supply and install cast-in-place cap, sidewalks and curbs;
Supply and installation of new sanitary line including casing pipe, manholes, and attachments to new bridge;
Fabrication and installation of bridge rails, approach rails, and chain link fencing;
Embankment regrading and erosion control including rip-rap, seeding, and erosion protection blankets; and
Road upgrades to match new bridge elevation and profile.
A separate price for additional mill and pave for the roadway has been identified.
