| Notes | The City of Lincoln (City), located in eastern Nebraska, will expand its existing WaterWise Sustainable Landscapes Cost Share Program. This program replaces water-intense lawns with drought-tolerant turf or drought-tolerant native grasses, contributing to water conservation efforts and thereby helping the City become more drought resilient. The native landscaping will also provide habitat for pollinators and increases biodiversity. Such measures align with the City’s Water Management Plan that highlights the significance of water conservation strategies, including this cost-share program. |
