African buffalo tracking collars

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of African buffalo tracking collars from Global Supplies as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and the contractor being the single provider of the goods. The collars must be able to attach to African Buffalo and must be able to track movement patterns including XYZ monitors attached to the collars. The contact devices must measure whenever an animal comes into contact with another animal and for how long they remained in close contact. The data must be stored on the collar and downloaded with a virtual interface when animals are sedated. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at procurement@oregonstate.edu by 01/14/2025 at 4:00PM PST.
