Bid Type: Request for Proposal Locations: Bennington, Rutland, Windham, Windsor, State-Wide Keywords: Social Services, Transportation Services Bid Description: The Vermont Department for Children and Families’ (DCF) mission is to foster the healthy development, safety, well-being, and self-sufficiency of Vermonters. The Department is structured around six Divisions that deliver programs and services to Vermonters; one of those Divisions is the Family Services Division (FSD). Family Services Division promotes the safety and well-being of children and youth in Vermont. Two ways that FSD supports children and youth in custody of the State are 1) providing safe and reliable transportation options and 2) providing a safe environment to have visitation with their families. Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Agency of Human Services (AHS), Department for Children and Families (DCF), Family Services Division (FSD) (hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish contracts with one or more individuals hat can provide Transportation and/or Supported Family Time Services (formerly known as supervised visitation). These services shall be provided to children/youth/families referred for services throughout the State, with a particular need for contractors in the Bennington, Brattleboro, and Springfield districts. Bidders may apply to provide any of the following services in any of the catchment areas outlined in this Request for Proposals (RFP): • Standard Transportation; and/or • Supported Family Time Services.
