Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Online Training

As part of an aggressive statewide effort to recruit, train, and retain DSPs who provide care in the Ohio developmental disabilities system, DODD is looking for a web-based Learning Management System (LMS) that offers training curriculum, specifically designed to educate and empower DSPs and front-line supervisors. The aim is to offer a resource for DSPs to fulfill the requirements of the Competency-Based Training and Longevity Add-On and to ensure DSPs receive consistent training to improve support and prevent worker injury. The training must focus on enhancing service quality and support, as well as best practices for safeguarding an individual's health and safety while meeting their needs.

Entities considering submitting proposals in response to this sourcing project are advised, to review and assess the minimum qualifications required as listed under Part 2: Section IV of the Direct Support Professional Learning Management System RFP, when considering if they possess the qualifications required for this project.

Proposals must be submitted via email to dodd.solicitations@dodd.ohio.gov with the subject “Direct Support Professional Learning Management System Proposal”, by no later than the date indicated for this sourcing project in OhioBuys.

Part Three: General Instructions of the Direct Support Professional Learning Management System RFP document details the requirements for the technical and cost proposals.

One contract is expected to be awarded to the highest scored proposal based on the evaluation criteria and process as outlined in Part Four: Evaluation of Proposals of the Direct Support Professional Learning Management System RFP document.

The attached PDF fillable forms, Standard Affirmation and Disclosure Form (EO 2019-12D & 2022-02D), Contractor Information Form, Supplement A – Architectural Compliance, Standards, and Service Requirements, and Exhibit 1 – Data Security and Privacy Terms are mandatory requirements for completion and submission for the proposal to be considered for evaluation.
