RFP for Spray Booth Construction and Installation

Project Description: The Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority, herein referred to as LANTA, is seeking Request for Proposals (RFPs) for Furnish and install one (1) semi-downdraft configuration spray booth cabin to accommodate paint spraying operations on Lanta’s transit buses. The booth must be configured as drive through. A pressurized mixing room must be included. Construction and installation must include, but is not limited to the following:
A complete Request for Proposals package will be available on PENNBID at www.pennbid.net on October 21st, 2024. Request for Proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m. November 22, 2024.
Request for Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria:
1) Delivery and unloading of all equipment. 2) Removal of existing block interior wall in the area where the spray booth will be installed. 3) Gas connection from Lanta’s supply to the spray booth Air Make-Up heater. 4) Electrical feed from Lanta’s electrical panel to the Spray Booth and Mixing Room control panels. 5) Electrical wiring of the Spray Booth, Mixing Room and their components. 6) Roof openings, roof curbs and sealing of roof openings. 7) Start up and commissioning of all equipment. 8) Instruction on the proper operation of the equipment and maintenance procedures.
