Car Washing Services

The County of San Mateo is seeking a qualified vendor(s) to provide vehicle and related cleaning services for County owned and/or leased vehicles on an as-needed basis. Services may include but are not limited to exterior washing, interior cleaning, detailing or other related services. The County intends to award a master agreement that any department may use for services throughout the contract term.

The County is looking for a vendor that delivers consistent quality, competitive pricing, and fast service across the cleaning of a wide range of County vehicles. The ideal vendor offers great quality of work, clear communication, and the capacity to handle the County's requirements.

The initial term of the agreement is three years, with two optional one-year extensions available at the County's sole discretion. The County encourages responses from vendors who can demonstrate the experience, resources, and customer service needed to support a high-volume public agency.

The County is seeking to enter into an agreement with a firm located within the jurisdiction of the County of San Mateo.

The County maintains a fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles.

The County reserves the right to award more than one (1) vendor.
