Project Description: As a method to reduce energy costs and meet its clean energy goals, Ada County (“County”) is interested in entering into a contract for the design, procurement, and installation of a complete grid-connected, turnkey Photovoltaic (“PV”) System on the rooftop of a County-owned building located at 975 E. Pine Avenue, Meridian, ID 83642 (“Project”), as more specifically described below and in the Scope of Work attached hereto as Exhibit A.
County is a direct recipient of certain funds pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA Funds”). This Project is contingent upon the availability of adequate ARPA Funds that are otherwise unobligated for other projects. Therefore, if sufficient ARPA Funds are not available after all other projects are accounted for, then this RFP 25016 will be cancelled and/or no contract will be awarded. However, because ARPA Funds must be obligated by December 31, 2024, County desires to move forward with RFP 25016 to ensure that any remaining ARPA Funds available for the Project can be timely obligated as required by federal law.
