Project Description: The Project includes modernization and seismic rehabilitation of (2) two existing lab buildings (H & N) on the Sierra College Rocklin campus. The structural modification will include new attached additions, new shear walls, new steel braced frames, retrofit of existing steel and concrete seismic connections, new openings in existing concrete walls. Interior renovations include renovations of partition walls, slab on grade replacement at new utilities, equipment anchorage. Also includes a new covered walkway canopy, and masonry site walls. Funding for the Project is from a combination of State funding and local District funding. The construction budget for the Project is $40,500,000. This amount includes all costs including planning, construction, supervision, management, compliance with all applicable codes and agency requirements, and any and all items required for the completion of the Project per the Contract Documents.
