Owensboro Municipal Utilities (OMU) is requesting bids to purchase seven (7) like new/reconditioned vacuum circuit breakers to replace existing GE Magne-Blast breakers. Breakers shall be reconditioned to ensure mechanical/electrical integrity and tested in accordance with the latest revisions of any applicable IEEE, ANSI, or NETA standards. Specifically, breakers shall meet ANSI/NETA standards for inspection and testing of Medium Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breakers. Breakers shall be reconditioned to perform their original intended function with continuous operation at the manufacturer’s specified ratings without loss of life expectancy. Manufacturer’s ratings, one (1) set of drawings, and one (1) electronic AutoCAD copy of drawings shall be provided with quotation. Also, as part of this bid, OMU would like to receive credit for the seven (7) replaced GE Magne-Blast breakers.
