Description / Background:

The City of Chino Hills (“City”) is requesting proposals to perform vegetation management within specified parameters at City-owned and operated drainage facilities. The drainage facilities consist of detention basins, vegetated swales, rip-rap-lined and earthen channels, culverts, and associated inlets and outlets for the Herbicidal Applications and Select Vegetation Trimming Project. The project and proposal elements include initial and ongoing clearing, trimming, and herbicidal applications to provide acceptable operation of the drainage facilities and positive flow conditions, which are not conducive to standing water and vector concerns.

Special Requirements:

The submittal package shall include the following: four (4) bound copies and one (1) electronic copy (flash drive is preferred method, emails not accepted) of the proposal; one (1) original and three (3) copies of the cost proposal in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked “Sealed Cost Proposal”; and a signed W-9.

Miscellaneous:

Proposer must be willing to enter into an agreement with the City of Chino Hills. A copy of the agreement accompanies the full RFP. Any exceptions to the standard agreement must be included with the proposal.
