05625Y0173-Moveable Wall System

Pursuant to Section 3-05 of the NYC Procurement Policy Board Rules, it is the intent of the New York City Police Department (“NYPD”), to enter into sole source negotiations with Kwik-Wall Company (“Kwik-Wall”), located at 4650 Industrial Ave., Springfield, Illinois 62703.  It is the NYPD’s expectation that Kwik-Wall will be awarded a contract for the provision of a tactical moveable wall system designed specifically for use within tactical, SWAT and/or military environments, also known as the Hufcur by Kwik-Wall FlexTact wall systems. Features of this wall system include, but are not limited to, (1) Unispan® overhead support system, (2) gas piston bottom mechanical seals, (3) stand-alone pass door panels, (4) specially designed vertical bulb seals, and (5) integrated vertical protective trim.  The NYPD is of the belief that this moveable wall system is exclusively distributed by Kwik-Wall distributors in North America.   Any vendor besides Kwik-Wall that believes that it can provide this moveable wall system is invited to do so.  To respond in PASSPort, please upload an Expression of Interest in the Documents Submission Section of the Manage Responses tab.  If you have questions about the details of the RFx, please submit them through the Discussion with Buyer tab.
