REBID Turtle Creek Road Bridge Reinforced Concrete Deck System with Barrier Curb

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received online via PennBID on behalf of East Buffalo Township, Union County, until 1:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on Monday, September 8, 2025, via PennBid, for the construction of an 8” reinforced concrete bridge deck and associated barrier curb for the Township’s Turtle Creek Road bridge replacement project.
Bids will be publicly opened and read at 1:01 p.m. (prevailing time) on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the East Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, PA 17837, by the Township Staff.
Award for the Contract may be made by the Board of Supervisors to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by the Board, at their regularly scheduled meeting, Monday, September 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., held at the East Buffalo Township Municipal Building.
Bid documents may be obtained at no cost, via PennBID at www.pennbid.net.
All proposals must be submitted electronically on the PennDOT bid documents which will be supplied by the Township, and each proposal must be accompanied by security as outlined in the bid documents.
Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but the Township may, in its sole discretion, release any bid and return the bid security prior to the end of this period.
East Buffalo Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids.

Please note, due to significant changes to the superstructure and fabrication/rolling delay, the engineers recommended that the original bid be thrown out. Bids were neither opened nor posted and we invite you will all resubmit your revised bids based on the revised plans which are now included. Thank you for your interest in this project.
