High-pressure, high-temperature laboratory reactor

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a high-pressure, high-temperature laboratory reactor from Parr Instrument Co as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and the contractor being the single provider of the goods. Reactor must reliably operate at temperatures up to 600 °C and pressures up to 3000 psi, with precise stirring, thermal control, and corrosion-resistant wetted parts and 500 mL internal volume. It must also have a stirred vessel design with a magnetic drive and a PID-controlled 4848 controller with ramp/soak temperature programming. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
