San Marcos Regional Airport Taxilanes Repairs IFB

The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids for:

Solicitation Number: IFB 2026-041, San Marcos Regional Airport Taxilanes Repairs

Project Scope: The scope of the project includes rehabilitation of portions of the existing concrete apron pavement with rehabilitation options to include resurfacing using either asphalt or latex-modified concrete, crack and spall repair, and some slab replacement.  Other items of work include reconstruction of an existing asphalt taxilane, pavement markings, aircraft tiedown replacement, and a small area of emulsified asphalt slurry seal surface treatment. The cost estimations are $295,615.00 (Base Bid), $1,507,300.00 (Bid Schedule #1), $2,088,900.00 (Bid Schedule #2), $2,622,290.00 (Bid Schedule #3).

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bid bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.

A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference for this Project will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM, Local Time via video conferencing. This pre-bid video conference has the option to be attended in person at 630 East Hopkins Street, San Marcos, Texas 78666 in the Municipal 2nd Floor Large Conference Room (Building 3).

Sealed bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and the bid opening will be conducted via video conference. Award is tentatively scheduled for the Tuesday, July 7, 2026, City Council meeting, at 6:00 p.m., or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
