The City of Alhambra (“City”), represented by its development manager, Cowley Corbis (“CC”), invites qualified construction management firms (“Construction Manager”) to submit proposals to provide Construction Manager as Adviser (“CMA”) services with a guaranteed maximum fee for the Construction Manager Multi-Prime (“CM Multi-Prime”) delivery of the Alhambra Community Center project (“ACC” or “Project”).
The selected firm will provide necessary input related to the project’s design, contractor selection and oversight of the prime contractors’ performances while representing the best interests of the City, so as to ensure a quality, cost effective project that is completed on schedule and within budget. It is the City’s preference that the CMA proposing entity also be a licensed and well-respected California general contractor that has acted as a prime general contractor on other such civic projects.
Neither the firm selected as CMA, nor any of its officers, principals or affiliates will be eligible to bid on, or contract with the City with respect to any of the Project’s multi-prime contracts.

A mandatory site job walk will be held on May 1st, 2025, at 1 p.m.
Questions regarding this proposal shall be submitted via email by May 9, 2025. In response to all questions received by this date, City will issue an Addendum no later than 3 days prior to the proposal submittal due date. The addendum will be emailed to all RFP recipients on record and posted on City's website under City Bid Notices/RFPs.

Late submittals will be rejected. All responses must be completed as required, signed by an official or firm who is authorized to enter into a binding agreement with the City on behalf of the Construction Manager.
