Project Description: The Board of Commissioners of Upper Chichester Township, Pennsylvania is accepting proposals for a one-time contract to perform certain professional services work for the Upper Chichester Township.
The Township is seeking a proposal for the service of Landscape Architecture/ Architecture/ Engineering Firm to prepare a comprehensive Trail Study to enhance community access to outdoor recreation and to improve connectivity within the Township between parks, neighborhoods, cultural resources and key public spaces. The selected proposer will be responsible for ensuring legal feasibility of trails and include ADA compliance, sustainability measures, and minimal environmental impact. Coordination with township officials and community stakeholders will be required throughout the project.
Six (6) copies of sealed proposals must be received by the Director of Parks and Recreation, at 8500 Furey Road, Upper Chichester, PA 19014. No later than 3:00pm on September 15, 2025, If mailed, the proposal should be addressed to: Brian J. Warren – Trail Plan RFP P.O. Box 2187 Boothwyn PA 19061.
Proposals can also be submitted on Pennbid no later than 3:00pm on September 15, 2025. All Bid Documents and Plans are available online via the PennBid Bonfire Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com at no cost to prospective bidders.
The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 of 1% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid.
