53rd Street Park Improvements - Raytown, MO

The Parks and Recreation Department of Raytown, MO is soliciting contractor services for the improvements at the 53rd Street Park and will receive sealed Technical Approach and Price Submittals until April 29, 2026 before 2:00pm ("Bid Due Date"). Sealed Technical Qualifications AND separate Price Submittal will be accepted by the City of Raytown, (hereinafter referred to as the Owner), at Office of the City Clerk, Raytown City Hall, 10000 E. 59th Street, Raytown, Missouri 64133. Any bid documents received after the designated closing time will not be considered and will be returned unopened.

Scope. The project Scope of Work includes the following: Provide design and construction to build a prefab restroom/storage building, splashpad, playground, park shelter, associated walkways, parking lot improvements, landscape fencing, and infrastructure. Construction plans, Specifications, Material Designations, Raytown codes compliance and permitting, Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Warranty Information and “As-Builts” of the finished improvements are required. Technical Approach Submittal

The outside of the envelope/package for the Technical Approach Submittal shall include Bidder's name and address and shall be labeled “Invitation for Bid – Technical Approach Submittal for 53rd Street Park Improvements.” Address the envelope to the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department, ATTENTION: DAVID TURNER, 10000 E. 59th Street, Raytown, Missouri 64133. The Technical Approach submittal cannot contain any reference to the cost of the project.

Price Submittal

The outside of the envelope/package for the Price Submittal shall include Bidder's name and address and shall be labeled “Invitation for Bid – Price Submittal for 53rd Street Park Improvements.” Address the envelope to the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department, ATTENTION: DAVID TURNER, 10000 E. 59th Street, Raytown, Missouri 64133. The Technical Approach submittal cannot contain any reference to the cost of the project.

Pre-Bid Conference. The City will hold one (1) Pre-Bid Conference on April 8, 2026 at 10:30 A.M., at the Raytown City Hall, 10000 E. 59th Street, Raytown, Missouri 64133. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is recommended but not required for all Bidders on this Project. Not available as an online meeting.

Public Bid Opening. Qualifications will be scored and the Price Submittals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Raytown City Hall on May 13th at 2:00 P.M., at Raytown City Hall, 10000 E. 59th Street, Raytown, Missouri 64133.
