Project Description: The Museum of Indian Culture is accepting bids for the proposed Lenape Village project located at 2528 Fish Hatchery Rd., Allentown, PA. This project will be an outdoor educational facility for the teaching of the cultural practices of the indigenous people who once occupied this area. The project includes, but is not limited to, site grading, bituminous and concrete walk paving, minor utility installation, small, open, wood and log framed and roofed architectural elements, dry laid stone retaining walls, inclined stone wall slope stabilization and landscaping.
Bid documents and specifications may be obtained from PennBid.net at no cost to the bidder beginning Wednesday, July 2, 2025. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at 2825 Fish Hatchery Road, Allentown, PA 18103.
Electronic bids must be submitted to PennBid.net no later than Monday, August 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM at which time they will be privately opened, tabulated, and published online. Late submissions will not be considered.
All bidders must be licensed contractors in compliance with PA and the City of Allentown licensing requirements. A bid bond of 5% is required with submission. The selected contractor must comply with state/federal labor laws, minority participation goals, and PA prevailing wage rates, etc.
The Museum of Indian Culture reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the project.
Questions regarding the project, will be answered through PennBid by the issuance of addenda distributed to all interested bidders on the project through the PennBid portal.
