CORNELL UNIVERSITY NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids for SUCF Project No. 161062_- RENOVATE LIVESTOCK PAVILION FOR SURGE SPACE PHASE 1 will be received by Cornell University at 121 Humphreys Service Building (Door 4), 639 Dryden Road, Ithaca, New York 14853, until 3:00PM on November 21, 2024, then opened publicly in Room 133 Humphreys Service Building and via Zoom at: https://cornell.zoom.us/j/95850446209?pwd=7a2irrDKid8SnA7RrTqTztrRSqyC6q.1&from=addon Bids must be accompanied by a bid security (bid bond or certified check) in the amount of 10% of total bid.

The scope of work will include:

1. Selective removal of existing below-grade site utilities, including mechanical steam piping, domestic water piping, sanitary sewer piping and communications conduit.

2. Utility work includes installation or extension of new and existing systems to the building and capping of lines within the building in preparation for future renovation work.

3. Extension of emergency power from Riley-Robb Hall.

4. Backfilling of all trenches and patching of paved surfaces.

5. Abatement of hazardous materials, selective demolition of existing tiered seating, restrooms, partial concrete-slab-on grade, and complete removal.

6. Contractors to coordinate Work with separate utility work being performed by the Owner within the immediate vicinity of this project.
