The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed Price call order to Community Blood Center dba Community Tissue Services against Blanket Purchase Agreement W81K00-23-A-0007, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii) Only One Source Reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) for the Department of Surgery (DOS/SPD), Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA Ft. Sam Houston, TX., to provide FDA approved Allograft Human Tissue.

The primary NAICS code for the requirement is 339113 - Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a size standard of 800 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This is a sole source notice of intent published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive quotes. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement including costs by 10:00 AM CST, 16 May 2025 via email to geraldine.i.hernandez.civ@health.mil. The government shall consider all timely responses received that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government.
