Description
The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), in partnership with the Digital Services Group (DSG), plans to acquire five KOR-24A Small Tactical Terminal (STT) software version 3.4.1A in FY 26/27 to support expanding Link 16 and tactical data communications capabilities. Additionally, there is an option to procure up to four more STTs next FY 27/28 to enhance operational flexibility and readiness for TDL 400 training and future missions. This effort aims to improve the availability of interoperable radios, reduce operational bottlenecks, and strengthen the CAF's Tactical Data Link (TDL) ecosystem.
This initiative will enable the RCAF Data Link Weapon Systems Manager (DLWSM) to maintain, operate, and enhance the Canadian Armed Forces' (CAF) Link 16 Tactical Data Link (TDL) ecosystem by increasing availability of interoperable radios and reducing operational bottlenecks associated with limited terminal availability.
This request is to procure new systems, P/N 1439747 NSN 5895-01-708-8091. Delivery is to be made to: CRYPTO ITEM which will have a delivery address of: COMSEC Custodian, 766 Comm Sqn (National COMSEC Services), William D Moyes Building (512), 265 De Niverville Private, Ottawa ON K1V 7N5.
The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/03/24.
