Description
The intent of this qualification process is to allow Foothills County to rate and select eligible Contractors that will bid the necessary services to facilitate the construction of the above noted project.
Through this Request for Qualifications, Foothills County seeks to ensure that companies that bid on this Contract have the experience, skill, ability, resources, bonding, integrity, and safety requirements needed to complete the specific work of this project.
Major work items for this contract will include approximately the following:
1. Pipeline Scope:
a) 300 m of 300 mm HDPE piping, including a trenchless crossing of 466 Avenue.
b) 30 m of 250 mm PVC piping.
c) Three (3) hot tap tie-ins and one (1) hot tap insertion valve.
2. Meter Scope:
a) A pre-cast concrete vault complete with two (2) flow meters, two (2) flow control valves, and backflow
preventers.
b) Auxiliary equipment including a heater and sump pump.
3. Electrical and instrumentation scope to support the above.
