Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Town of Edson (the “Town”) to submit non-binding proposals for the provision of The Town of Edson is: Inviting proposals for the provision of groundskeeper and administrative services at Willmore Park, a municipal camping/recreation facility. The successful Proponent will manage day-to-day operations of the park, including maintenance, cleaning, inventory management, enforcement, and customer service, year-round for the duration of the service term. The contract will be three years (starting May 1st, 2025), with an option for a two-year extension at the end of the three years. Much of the successful Proponent’s time will be spent tending to the campground and assisting campers. However, Willmore Park is not exclusively a camping venue; its scenic landscape, river access, extensive trail network, and toboggan hill attract runners, hikers, bikers, tubers, and casual recreationalists on day outings. The recent addition of a Bike Skills Park has made it a destination for bikers from across the Province. Given this multipurpose character (as well as the sheer scale of the facility), the job requirements for the successful Proponent are diverse, encompassing janitorial work, administration, customer service, enforcement, and manual labour in both the campground and the trails/multi-use areas throughout the park .
