It is the intent of these plans and specifications to provide for a contractor who shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to perform new service installations across the water system. Prospective contractors should be prepared to bid this work on an as needed basis. It is anticipated that the City of Kalamazoo will complete some of the proposed services using in house personnel, with the remainder distributed to the responsive low bid contractor(s).
