Tendering Procedure: Only one firm has been invited to provide services.
Period of the proposed contract or delivery date: Up to two (2) months from effective date of the Agreement.
Nature of Requirement: To contract with Centaur Products Inc. to sand & refinish Saville Community Sports Centre North Gyms No. 1 to 4 and screen & recoat Gym No. 5.
Justification: Centaur Products Inc. was involved in the construction of the Saville Community Sports Centre – West (2011) and the installation of all the 240,000 sq. ft. of hardwood surfaces. Centaur Products Inc. is an exclusive Robbins Bio Channel ® Star distributor / installer, which is the basketball flooring system currently in the Saville Community Sports Centre. To our knowledge, Centaur Products Inc. is the only certified dealer authorized to sand & refinish, screen & recoat the Robbins Bio Channel ® Star product line from the Manufacturer to maintain performance standards.
