THE UNITED STATES ARMY CONTRACTING COMMAND, DETROIT ARSENAL, MICHIGAN (ACC-DTA), AWARDED A SOLE SOURCE DELIVERY ORDER TO Data Security, Inc., 300 S 7th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508-2401, Contract Number: GS-02F-0015T, CAGE Code 0B8L1. THE GOVERNMENT AWARDS THE ORDER UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 16.505(a)(4) and 16.505(b)(2)(ii)(A). ALSO: Department of Defense agencies are required to establish cybersecurity programs and TACOM LCMC is under the authority of Department of Defense Instruction Number 8500.01, Cybersecurity, dated 14 March 2014. At Enclosure 3, Paragraph 9.b.(8) the disposal and destruction of classified materials directs those actions be performed in accordance with Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction No. 4004.1, dated August 2006. At paragraph 12 of the CNSS document, Evaluated Products Lists (EPLs) are identified that are created by the National Security Agency (NSA) and found on its website. The NSA regularly publishes lists of approved devices that meet its destruction standards. The NSA/CSS EPL for Solid-State Disintegrators is dated July 2025.
