VTA is a public transportation agency dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient transit services that connect communities and support regional mobility. As VTA continues to adapt to the growing transportation needs of the public and implement increasingly complex multi-modal initiatives, we face a range of staffing challenges that require support from qualified staffing and executive search partners to help fill critical vacancies across all levels of the organization. These needs are inclusive of executive leadership roles, management, professional staff, and temporary or contingent workers across administrative, technical, and professional functions in key operational and support areas such as transit operations, fleet maintenance, administration, finance, information technology, cyber security, program and project management, customer service, and engineering.
Given the specialized nature of public transit, VTA is seeking Proposals from firms that understand the complexities of government-sector recruitment, including adherence to civil service requirements, labor regulations, and the strategic importance of inclusive hiring.
Through these partnerships, VTA aims to enhance workforce capacity, streamline the recruitment process, and attract high-caliber talent committed to public service and transportation innovation. These services are essential to supporting our long-term mission, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering impactful mobility solutions to the communities we serve.
