Project Description: The Spring 2026 CIPP Sewer Lining Project is a public works construction project for Murray City focused on rehabilitating existing sanitary sewer pipelines using cured-in-place pipe, CIPP, technology. The project is designed to extend the service life of aging sewer infrastructure, reduce infiltration and inflow, and improve overall system reliability without the need for full pipe replacement.
The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, traffic control, bypass pumping, surface restoration, and related services necessary to complete the lining of designated sewer segments. The project utilizes unit price bidding, and final payment will be based on actual measured quantities installed in accordance with the contract documents.
The contractor will be required to coordinate with City staff and the project engineer, comply with all safety requirements, and complete the work within the contract time specified in the Agreement.
This project supports Murray City’s ongoing infrastructure maintenance program and commitment to maintaining safe, reliable, and cost-effective public utilities.
