Description
This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions.
US Army Corps of Engineers - Seattle District, intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract to Emerson Process Management Power & Water Solutions, INC. (UEI SXN4KTNMCGN3) on a Single Source (FAR Part 13.106(b) basis. See attached Single Source Justificaiton.
The government will not post a solicitation. The government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 334513 - Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables . The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 750 employees.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition of this requirement in the future would be advantageous to the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. All interested concerns shall submit responses and questions to brantley.w.dowell@usace.army.mil.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
