School Nutrition Warehouse Generator Project

Ector County ISD (ECISD) School Nutrition Department is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors to provide a complete turnkey generator solution for the ECISD School Nutrition Warehouse.

The project includes assessment of the existing generator and electrical system, load verification, equipment, delivery, installation, electrical integration, testing, commissioning, training, and related incidental installation necessary to provide reliable emergency backup power for three (3) walk-in freezers and one (1) walk-in refrigerator.

ECISD is not prescribing a specific generator configuration. Proposers shall evaluate the existing system and recommend a complete solution that meets the requirements of the Solicitation.

This RFP will be evaluated and awarded on a Best Value basis in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the Solicitation.

Deadline: 10:00 AM (Central Time), October 21, 2026

Proposals received after the date and time stated above will not be considered.

ECISD is not responsible for internet service interruptions, system failure, misdirected submissions, or proposals not received by the deadline.

Proposal Opening:

The ECISD School Nutrition Department will receive electronic proposals through eBid until 10:00 AM Central Time on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Proposals will be opened electronically through eBid following the submission deadline. Award and Notification:

ECISD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive minor informalities or immaterial irregularities, and make an award in the best interest of the District in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local procurement requirements.

The recommended award will be submitted to the ECISD Board of Trustees for consideration and approval on November 17, 2026.

Notification of award will be issued via email and/or through the ECISD eBid system following Board approval.
