This Sources Sought announcement is published FOR MARKET RESEARCH





PURPOSES ONLY, pursuant to FAR 15.201(e) Exchanges with Industry. No solicitation is available. In accordance with FAR 15.202(a), responses to this notice are NOT offers and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.

Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking to identify sources capable of supporting a Firm Fixed Price contract (FFP) to perform a thorough intrusive nspection, repair and testing of the both CO2 Scrubbers on a Virginia class submarine.

The sources’ sought notice is a market research tool being utilized to identify potential and eligible firms capable of providing these services prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote (RFQ). As such, all interested parties are encouraged to respond. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
