Collection, Hauling and Processing of Waste Materials

The City currently has multi-stream waste disposal at all City owned and operated facilities to increase waste diverted from the landfill. The City is seeking the supply of multi-stream outdoor waste containers (front end load, carts, roll off or other) at each facility/location and collection, hauling and processing services that will maximize the City’s diversion rates, minimize contamination and provide a simple and efficient system for cleaning staff and other users.

Submissions clearly marked "COR26-00059 - Collection, Hauling and Processing of Waste Materials", in the header line, will be received by the City of Regina, via email at procurement@regina.ca, no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on April 28, 2026.

Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:

•Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement

•Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement

•Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement

There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.

Subcontracting

It is anticipated that some companies may not be able to address the full requirements on their own. Such companies are encouraged to combine their resources with those of other companies. In such cases, it is mandatory that the RFP be submitted in the name of one of the proponents who will act as the prime proponent.
