Aptamer Library Generation Services for USAMRIID

Aptagen LLC received a firm fixed price contract, as a result of a sole source procurement, for Aptamer Library Generation of two (2) Deoxyribonucleic Acids (DNA) per anticipated projects, per year. The award was issued in accordance with FAR 15.501(a)(1)(ii) -- source (including brand name) under the authority of simplified procedures for certain commercial items, as Aptagen LLC was identified as the only company able to provide aptamer library kits along with library characterization services, while also providing the ability for USAMRIID to leverage its expertise while retaining possession of the select agents in accordance with USAMRIID's strict and rigorous access and control protocols, allowing for the productiopn of the libraries within said containment parameters.
