1	FY24 BLGSS - Requesting authorization to submit a RFP to seek bids to provide a feasibility study for the consolidation of the two school. The District and Academy are located in Muskegon County in the Lower Peninsula, have approximately 500 students educated at Muskegon Heights Public School Academy system which is authorized by Muskegon Heights Public Schools. In 2013, the Academy was formed due to financial distress of the District to educate the students of the District. Public Act 321 of 2023 appropriated funds for school district emergency loan debt relief to the District. As the debt has been relieved, the District and Academy are requesting a feasibility study to return to one District. Technology Strategies.
