Virtual Industry Day for Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) Trailers

The purpose of this virtual industry day is to gauge interest in a potential contract to provide MAAS trailers for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). The Government seeks to engage with industry to provide more insight into the Government’s MAAS trailer requirements and allow potential offerors the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to the Government.

This virtual industry day is an extension of the sources sought posted on Sam.gov, under notice ID “FA8051-MAASTrailer-SourcesSought.” The requirement draft Statement of Work dated 26 June 2024 (referenced in the sources sought) is attached to this industry day notice (Attachment 1). The drawing package referenced in the sources sought may be requested by e-mailing the government points of contact no later than 06 Nov 2024, 5:00pm CDT.

This industry day will be performed virtually via Microsoft Teams. The industry day will consist of a Government briefing followed by a general industry question and answer (Q&A) session with all attendees. One-on-one Q&A sessions will be conducted, as requested, after the initial Government briefing and general industry Q&A. A draft agenda is attached to this notice (Attachment 3). A final agenda with instructions will be provided to registered attendees prior to the industry day. All briefings and one-on-one discussions will be conducted at the unclassified level. Each potential offeror is limited to three (3) machines accessing the Government Briefing.

The virtual industry day Government briefing with general industry Q&A session will take place on 20 Nov 2024. One-on-one Q&A meetings will also take place on 20 Nov 2024 after the Government briefing and general Q&A. One-on-one Q&A sessions may continue through 21 Nov 2024, as needed, depending on the number of interested attendees. Time slots for one-on-one opportunities will be limited to no more than 20 minutes.

Those who are interested in attending this event are required to respond to this notice by e-mailing the Government points of contact with your filled out industry day registration (Attachment 2) no later than 06 Nov 2024, 5:00pm CDT. The Government will send an email confirmation verifying successful receipt of registration along with one-on-one meeting confirmations no later than 08 Nov 2024.

On 15 Nov 2023, the Government will host a dry run to test connectivity. Potential offerors are highly encouraged to participate in the dry run to work out any issues prior to industry day. Those who are interested in attending the dry run are required to respond to this notice by e-mailing the government points of contact with your filled out industry day registration (Attachment 2) no later than 06 Nov 2024, 5:00pm CDT.
