Description:

The Work comprises, but is not limited to: Mobilization, traffic control, grind existing pavement up to 4 inches deep; install AC Overlay up to 4 inches thick; reconstruct ADA Access Ramps; adjust utility covers and valve lids to finished grade; reconstruct concrete sidewalk; reconstruct curb and gutter; restore striping; pavement legends, and pavement markers.

Work shall be completed in compliance with approved Project Design Plans, on file with the City Clerk.

Qualifications:
The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids. The minimum acceptable experience shall include direct responsibility for performing the necessary work. The Contractor is required to complete a Bidder's Qualification Form & Contractor's Project Listing (included in Section 1.3 Bid Documents) certifying that they have met the minimum acceptable experience for performing the necessary work. Failure to meet the minimum qualification will render a bidder non-responsive.
Special Requirements:
10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. It shall be mandatory, upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council as they apply to the work being performed. Said prevailing rates are available from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations website (**See link under Description).
