Scope of Services
2.0 SCOPE OF GOODS AND/OR SERVICES AND APPLICABLE SPECIFICATIONS
This Specification establishes the minimum requirements for this solicitation, listed and described in the body of these specifications, to be used as noted, by The School Board of Osceola County, FL.
The scope of these specifications are to insure the delivery of complete units ready for operation. Omission of any essential detail from these specifications does not relieve the supplier from furnishing of complete units.
All vehicles must be untitled, of current manufacture and carry standard warranties. At least one (1) owner’s manual and two (2) sets of keys and/or keyless entry remotes, and temporary paper tags must be furnished with each vehicle at the time of delivery. The successful bidder(s) must service all vehicles prior to delivery. The bidder must maintain a normal supply of repair parts and be equipped with personnel and facilities to provide such service as necessary to keep the vehicles in operation with a minimum of delay.
The District processes our own title/tag work, when vehicle(s) are delivered the MSO and Supporting documentation must be in the name of The School Board of Osceola County, FL.
The District would like to take possession of the vehicles as soon as possible after receipt of the Purchase Order; therefore bidder(s) are asked to bid on vehicles that are currently in stock or that are easily accessible from another dealership. Since there is a possibility of Dealerships not having the vehicles in stock, we are also requesting pricing on vehicles that are special order.

In an effort to locate and purchase vehicles this is a quick turn-around bid only electronic submittals will be accepted. Schedule of events: The opening date of the bids is Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The Board approved date is Tuesday, December 9, 2025, ideally purchase order(s) issued to the awarded bidder(s) on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, and we would like to have deliveries with-in seven (7) days of the receipt of the purchase order or as soon as possible.
Listed below are the preferred equipment specifications. Due to time constraints the District will consider vehicles that may not meet all of the requirements listed. Determining an equal is at the discretion of the School District. Vehicles must comply with Florida Statutes 1006.22 (1)(b) 1.
Item #1 - 3 – Quantity of 3 - 2025 or newer, Honda Odyssey Minivans with seating capacity of 7 or 8 passengers, standard equipment, minimum 3 year/36,000-mile warranty. Acceptable Manufacturer: Toyota, Honda, Sienna, Chrysler , Nissan Quest, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Ford and Kia or EQUIVALENT.
Item #4 - 7 – Quantity of 4 - 2025 or newer, Ford Transit 150 vans with seating capacity of 5 to 9 passengers and can be converted to haul equipment, standard equipment, minimum 3 year/36,000-mile warranty. Acceptable Manufacturer: Toyota, Honda, Chrysler , Nissan, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Ford, and Kia or EQUIVALENT.
Item #8 - 9 – Quantity 2 - 2025 or newer, Ford E-450 Box Trucks, Gasoline Engine, Automatic Transmission, split rear cargo doors that swing out, 2000lb Lift Gate, color preference is white, with seating for 2 passengers, standard equipment, minimum 3 year/36,000-mile warranty. Acceptable Manufacturer: Ford, Chevrolet, or EQUIVALENT.
Item #10 – 13 – Quantity of 4 - 2025 or newer, Ford, Mavericks Pick Up Trucks, Gasoline Engine, and Automatic Transmission, Seating for 4 - 5 passengers, Color Preference is White, minimum 3 year/36,000-mile warranty. Acceptable Manufacturer: Toyota, Honda, Chrysler , Nissan, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Ford, and Kia or EQUIVALENT.
Item #14 – 17 – Quantity of 4 - 2025 or newer, Chevrolet Trax SUV, Gasoline Engine, and Automatic Transmission, Seating for 4 -5 passengers, Color Preference is White, minimum 3 year/36,000-mile warranty. Acceptable Manufacturer: Toyota, Honda, Chrysler , Nissan, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Ford, and Kia or EQUIVALENT.
