Custodial Chemical Cleaning System

PURPOSE

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information from qualified vendors regarding custodial cleaning systems suitable for a K–12 public school environment. Birdville ISD is seeking to identify solutions that improve the efficiency, safety, and quality of cleaning services across all district facilities.

This RFI is intended solely for information-gathering purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment to purchase. Following review of the information received, the District may contact select companies for additional information, demonstrations, or product presentations.

BACKGROUND

Birdville ISD serves approximately 24,300 students across 31 campuses, including elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as several administrative and support facilities. The District currently utilizes Buckeye Smart System Smart Center, and seeking information about alternate systems.

The District is exploring modern custodial cleaning systems that may include new technologies, equipment, products, or software to improve cleaning consistency, reduce costs, and support environmental sustainability.

OBJECTIVES

The District seeks information on custodial cleaning systems that may include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Chemical dispensing systems designed for accuracy and efficiency

· Cleaners and disinfectants with shorter contact (dwell) times for faster, effective sanitation

· Multipurpose cleaning solutions to reduce the overall number of products in use

· Environmentally responsible products that meet applicable health and safety standards

· Systems that improve training, consistency, and compliance across all facilities

Responses must be submitted electronically in this e-bid system. Late responses may not be reviewed.

TIMELINE

Following the review of submitted materials, the District may contact selected companies for additional information. This may include requests for detailed presentations, product demonstrations, or follow-up discussions regarding the proposed custodial cleaning systems.
