Project Description: The City of Tempe (City) seeks to establish a term contract for the procurement of Holmatro Pentheon Series extrication tools specifically designed for emergency response operations conducted by the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department. This brand name only specifications solicitation addresses the critical need for reliable e-powered combination tools that will serve as backup equipment during periods when primary extrication tools are undergoing maintenance or repair, and to supplement existing equipment capacity during complex emergency scenarios requiring multiple tool deployment. As this is a Brand Name Only specification, the brand name called out is the only product that will be considered for award. This decision is reserved for those rare situations where there are systems or compatibility issues or life/safety issues that require the City to remain consistent with the brand of product established. In these situations, the City will not consider any other brand of product other than the brand called out.
