APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
Product Director, Multi-Mission Protected Vehicle Systems (PdD MPVS) is conducting a Market Survey to determine if companies are interested in and capable of producing and delivering FMTV Armor Protection Kits. PdD MPVS may solicit for a Requirements type contract for the kits listed in the Preface above, but there are currently no known Army requirements. However, as Army, customer and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements are made known, kits would be procured under the resultant contract. The United States Government (USG) is considering a contract term from five (5) to ten (10) years.
Interested vendors are encouraged to complete the survey located under Attachments and then return it via e-mail to: Paul Hewitt, Contracting Officer, paul.h.hewitt.civ@army.mil, and Thomas Gerasimidis, Contract Specialist, thomas.gerasimidis.civ@army.mil. Subject Line: (Company Name) response to Army Product Office for FMTV A2 Protection Kits
Interested vendors may respond in total, or in part, to the market survey, however all responses must be received no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 31 July 2025.
