GENERATOR AND ATS REPLACEMENT

A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Montgomery Police Department Conference Room, 320 North Ripley Street, Montgomery, Alabama.

Bids will be received electronically by the City of Montgomery, c/o Mills-Conoly Engineering (amills@mills-conoly.com), until 5:00PM local time on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

1. Providing all labor, equipment and materials as required for the Installation of Owner Furnished 250.4KW/313KVA, 120/208V, 3-Phase Caterpillar diesel emergency power engine generator set on a Contractor Furnished Contractor Installed 1,200 Gallon dual walled skid mounted diesel fuel oil tank as indicated. The fuel oil tank shall be capable of supporting the entire weight of generator set and housing.

2. Remove existing 800A, 120/208V, 3-Phase automatic transfer switch complete. Install Owner Furnished 800A, 120/208V, 3-Phase automatic transfer switch as indicated.

3. Provide and install new 1,000A, 120/208V, 3-Phase pad mounted dual purpose Generator Docking Station as indicated.

4. Replace existing generator annunciator panel with Owner Furnished generator annunciator panel.

5. Provide concrete pads for equipment as indicated.

6. Provide new 8’-0” security fencing as indicated.

7. Commission generator, Docking Station and Automatic Transfer Switch.

8. Install concrete pipe bollards as indicated.

9. Drain existing 1,000-gallon underground fuel-oil tank and dispose of fuel oil as required per ADEM and EPA standards.

10. Remove existing generator, fuel oil piping and exhaust piping complete.
